As the largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, Always Live has been added to the Victorian major events calendar and is poised to make a significant impact on the global music scene. Brand Identity: Universal Favourite

Visit Victoria needed a design system to promote over 100 events and festivals across the state—each with its own identity, yet all connected under a single brand. This was the first-ever statewide rollout of its kind: no existing framework, no precedent, and a tight timeline. The challenge was scale, consistency, and speed. Building a system that could deliver clarity across a diverse, complex program of cultural events.

I developed and implemented a flexible design system that could adapt to the unique character of each event; solo act, main music event, or cultural program—while maintaining a clear, recognisable brand presence. The system established consistent layouts, typographic treatments, and colour usage, supporting variation without fragmentation.

I joined the project during the launch of the festival, stepping in to support the team and manage overflow work during a high-pressure period. This required quickly understanding the emerging framework, contributing solutions where needed, and delivering a large volume of design assets across multiple stakeholders and platforms. In total, I produced over 300 digital, print and merchandise assets, supporting the campaign’s rollout across a complex network of event partners.

The campaign reached thousands of locals and visitors, driving engagement and attendance across Victoria’s cultural calendar. The system was clear, scalable, and and efficient, considered delivery of assets—particularly during the high-pressure demands of the rollout.
